Good moments in bad days
So, trusting God can be easy or hard. Lately, it's been pretty hard for me. I've had some bad days (or a lot but that's beside the point) and I've felt my faith wavering. I keep asking, "where are you, God? Didn't you promise never to forsake us?" That's how I've felt. And though I'm not out yet, I'm already seeing that He has been there.
Last week Tuesday, I got to play in the spirit with friends. Friday, after having worked on it for two years, I published my first novel and have so far made about $15 off of it. Sunday I had a great conversation with a friend. This Tuesday, we went to the pool with friends and I had a lot of fun. So no matter how bad things had been, I don't have to look far to see God.
You will have bad days. It's apart of life and there will be days when you want nothing to do with God and believe that He has abandoned you. He hasn't, trust me. He's right there and those bad days are part of His plan. Look for the good things. They're there. But most of all, keep heart. In the hard times, say "I trust you, God," and you will find strength.
Most of all, don't let the bad days get to you. Don't let them get to your heart. God has you where he wants you and this moment means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Use the bad days to grow instead of shrinking back.
You are loved. Your season is not your story.
